We're a small group of mostly new screenwriters who live in the Vancouver, BC area. The majority of our members have day jobs and write on the side in the hopes of getting something produced. Some have scripts that have won screenplay contests or are in the process of being optioned.

We originally belonged to meetup.com. But in 2005, we formed our own website and our own group so that we could communicate in our own way and meet on our own terms. We wanted a place where we could freely post news stories, reviews and events. Plus, have one place that could link us to resources and allow us to network with other Vancouver screenwriters.

Our meetups aren't formal. They're just a chance to network and talk about the film and TV industries and our own projects. New members are always welcome. Just get involved on this website in the Forum or pop in to a meetup. There’s no formal process to become a member.

In addition to being a meetup group. We have partnered with the Westend Screenwriters Club. The WESC meets every two weeks to read and offer feedback on a screenplay written by someone in the Vancouver area.
